A Legal Studies major at the University of Central Florida, Kaitlyn is working towards her goal of attending law school and becoming an attorney. A current Mock Trial competitor at UCF, Kaitlyn is part of a small group of competitors to achieve multiple awards in her first year with the team, as well as compete at AMTA’s Open Round Championship Series.
Kaitlyn attributes her adaptability and drive to her time in musical theatre as a high school student. There, she performed in countless musicals, and won Outstanding Lead Performer three years in a row. Due to the constant, rigorous rehearsals and training involved, she learned the importance of hard work and dedication, which she applies to everything she does including her work as a law clerk at Gurney Law. Kaitlyn’s work at Gurney Law focuses on assisting the paralegals and attorneys with client tasks and day-to-day responsibilities of the office.
